Granite
Granite is one of the most common types of rock in the Swedish primitive rocks. It is often gray or red in light shades, but the color can vary a lot and is dependent on the proportions of the minerals. Granite consists mainly of feldspar, quartz and mica.
Granite is used as building material, for monuments and to some extent for curb stone and paving-stone. It is durable and very well suited for floors and today it is common in malls, office premises and hotels. Granite is highly praised for its beautiful colors and pattern. As a floor material it is durable and hardwearing and it’s just getting more and more exquisite as time passes. No matter how hard the wear and tear, a granite floor keeps its brilliance and luster.
