What is concrete?
Concrete is a natural material composed of cement, water, gravel, stone and sand. A minimal amount of additives is added to improve the characteristics of the concrete. Concrete is like a recreated rock; stable and constant with an almost everlasting life-cycle. Since it’s possible to re-cycle concrete to almost 100 %, the material is not harmful to the environment. The old concrete is crushed and used for new concrete or as road building material.
